I just got these pictures from Lauren Powers (nee Black), taken from my visit to Richmond a couple months ago. This is Elizabeth and she turned one last month.
Not as creepy as you’d think
I just got back from Georgia and had my first opportunity to really use my new camera. Half my pictures were out of focus, but a few of them (seriously, a few) came out nicely.
Site Map Here’s one. It’s from the Bonaventure Cemetery outside Savannah, in a town called (awesomely) Thunderbolt. If you’ve seen Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, then you’ve seen it before.
More to come, but I’ll space ‘em out so it seems like I’m producing more content than I am.
Another picture I took yesterday
I feel like this flower looks like a cab driver. Just the way it was naturally pointing forward. It’s kind of Italian.
Pretty things.
So I sunk over six hundred bucks on my new camera and I took it out for a test run. I took some really easy pictures outside, but I’m quite pleased with the results.
There’ll be more where that came from. Hopefully lots of cool Gothic stuff from the cemetery in Savannah.
