Today, as I passed the homeless shelter going to work, I passed one of the regulars who's been there forever. She has one leg, a beard, chain-smokes and talks to herself nonstop. Today, she was wearing a shirt that had a picture of Massachusetts with a star on Cambridge that read: Harvard — the William and Mary of the North.
