Before I just liked the idea of them — a scrappy rock band fronted by a beautiful black woman. But now I actually really love the music.
Listen to the songs “Monte Christo,” which is a delicate, harmonized walk through the park, or listen to “Don't Give Up,” a blues at its most raucous and containing some awesome screechy/yelpy vocals.
